Job summary

Graybar is seeking an Account Manager to qualify new accounts and opportunities, or expand relationships with existing customers in OEM, System Integrator, Panel Builder, Automotive and Material Handling markets. The role is remote-friendly and requires strong product knowledge in automation control and electrical services.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of experience, a 4-year degree, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP)

Responsibilities

• Implement strategy to increase sales and profits from key accounts.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity.
• Understand customer business needs and work closely with our supplier partners to help find solutions to meet those needs.
• Give presentations on new products, answer questions on products and Company services.
• Attain or exceed sales and profit budget.
