Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an Associate Auto Claims Advisor for a remote role across the United States. Responsibilities include handling non-injury auto claims, verifying coverages, conducting liability investigations, and communicating claim status to members. Training is provided and spans 6 weeks, with Pacific Time hours.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in customer service, and ability to work remotely. Travel to meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 2 years of experience in a customer facing virtual environment leveraging internet, phone and chat features.
• Capability to train and perform the job in a remote setting and meet work-from-home requirements.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Flexibility to work any shift during 24/7 operating hours, including evenings and holidays.
• Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Willing to have cameras when onboarding new team members or for relationship building.
• Willing to travel for role to meetings and events.
• Fulfills business needs, including helping other teams.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles auto and property damage claims.
• Manage a diary system to review and resolve claims within state guidelines.
• Open claims and obtain loss details from insured, claimants and involved parties.
• Explain policy coverages and recommended actions to customers.
• Document files and communicate with customers and repair facilities.
