Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring an Associate Auto Claims Advisor to handle non-injury auto and property damage claims in a remote setting. You will verify coverages, conduct liability investigations, set expectations for the claims process, and communicate with insureds and repair facilities from home.

Training is a 6-week program, 8:00am-5:00pm Pacific Time, Monday–Friday, with potential for a 5% annual bonus under the company incentive plan.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work remotely and meet home workspace requirements.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles auto and property damage claims.
• Handle a diary system to review and resolve claims within state guidelines.
• Manage an inventory of claims.
• Opens claims and gathers information from insured, claimants and other involved parties.
• Explains policy coverage and recommended actions to customers.
• Documents claim files and communicates with customers and repair facilities.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations and SOPs.
