Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring an Associate Auto Claims Advisor for a remote role across multiple states. You will handle non-injury auto and property claims, verify coverages, conduct liability investigations, and guide members through the claims process.

The position requires 2+ years of customer service, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work remotely with flexible shifts. Training is 6 weeks, with Pacific Time hours, and occasional in-person travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 2 years of experience in a customer facing virtual environment leveraging internet, phone and chat features.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in a fast-paced setting.
• Ability to train and perform the job in a remote setting and meet work-from-home requirements.
• Flexibility to work any shift during 24/7 operating hours, including evenings and/or weekends and holidays.
• Willing to travel for role and attend in-person team meetings when needed.
• Bilingual is a plus.
• Outstanding interpersonal and strong computer navigation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles auto and property damage claims.
• Handle a diary system to review and resolve claims within state compliance guidelines.
• Manage an inventory of claims.
• Opens claims and acquires required information and loss details from the insured, claimant and other involved parties.
• Explains policy, coverage and appropriate course of action (follow-up, status calls, touch base with the customer).
• Documents claim files, sends appropriate correspondence and communicates with customers and repair facilities.
• Ensures compliance with specific state regulations, policy provisions and standard operating procedures.
