CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) is seeking an Associate Auto Claims Advisor to handle non-injury auto and property damage claims in a remote setup across multiple US time zones."

You’ll verify coverages, conduct liability investigations and guide members through the claims process. Training is a 6-week virtual program, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm PT, starting 12/07/2026, with ongoing support and performance coaching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 2 years of experience in a customer facing virtual environment leveraging internet, phone and chat features.
• Capability to train and perform the job in a remote setting and meet work-from-home requirements as needed.
• May require Adjusters license as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, evaluates, negotiates and settles auto and property damage claims.
• Handle a diary system to review and resolve claims within state compliance guidelines.
• Manage an inventory of claims.
• Opens claims and acquires required information and loss details from the insured, claimant and other involved parties.
• Explains policy, coverage and appropriate course of action (follow-up, status calls, touch base with the customer).
• Documents claim files, sends correspondence and communicates with customers and repair facilities.
• Ensures compliance with state regulations, policy provisions and SOPs.
• Arranges, handles and pays repair, rental, towing, total losses and negotiates storage.
• Applies knowledge of estimating standards ranging from minor to moderate complexity.
