Travelers is seeking an Outside Auto Appraiser to inspect damaged vehicles, estimate repair costs, and determine actual cash value to settle claims. This remote-based role requires technical expertise in vehicle damage assessment, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree and active adjuster license, where applicable.
• Two years auto physical damage appraisal experience.
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software; strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage by conducting thorough virtual or on-site inspections at body shops or customer locations.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software to determine parts, labor, and materials costs.
• Evaluate and settle vehicle total losses by determining actual cash value through market research and valuation tools.
• Negotiate repair costs and settlements with body shops, customers, and third-party claimants to reach fair resolutions while maintaining quality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining the appraisal process and guiding claims toward timely resolution.
