Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; active adjuster license where applicable.
• Two years auto physical damage appraisal experience or comparable claim-related experience.
• Proficient in claims management and estimating software; strong MS Office and enterprise tech skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicle damage via on-site or virtual inspections at body shops or customer locations.
• Prepare accurate repair estimates using industry software; determine parts, labor, and materials costs.
• Evaluate and settle total losses using actual cash value through market research and comparables.
• Negotiate repair costs and settlements to reach fair, timely resolutions.
• Document pre-existing damage, prior repairs, and fraud indicators to protect company interests.
• Coordinate repairs with claims reps, body shops, and vendors; authorize supplements.
• Explain appraisal process to customers; keep vehicle owners informed throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Adapt to new technology, system upgrades, and AI tool rollouts while maintaining productivity.
