Job summary

CenterWell is seeking an Authorization Supervisor to oversee daily authorization activities and guide staff. This role reports to the Authorizations Manager and focuses on adherence to procedures and timely authorizations.

Remote position with Monday–Friday 9:30am–6pm EST, occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings. Includes a bonus incentive plan and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of healthcare authorization experience.
• Some lead or supervisory experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare collections and accounts receivable procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily authorization activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to procedures.
• Provide guidance to staff and liaison with insurance companies.
• Oversee authorization management and portfolio performance.
• Develop plans to meet objectives and improve processes.
• Maintain provider manuals, patient information updates and logs.
• Ensure timely authorizations and compliance with customer service standards.
