Job summary

CenterWell Home Health is seeking an Authorization Supervisor who will report to the Authorizations Manager. You will supervise daily authorization activities, guide staff across standards and procedures, and coordinate with insurance companies to keep workflows moving efficiently.

The role requires a High School Diploma, 3+ years in healthcare authorization, leadership experience, and proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• 3+ years of healthcare-related authorization experience.
• Some lead/supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare collection and accounts receivables preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily authorization activities and ensure efficiency.
• Supervise authorization management functions and maintain portfolios.
• Guide management at branches on authorization issues.
• Develop and implement plans to meet objectives for authorizations.
• Oversee provider manuals, patient info updates, and logs.
• Ensure timely authorizations and adherence to customer service guidelines; communicate changes to personnel.
