Humana Inc. is seeking an Authorization Supervisor to oversee daily authorization activities and guide staff in accordance with policies. The role reports to the Authorizations Manager and may involve travel to Humana offices for training.

The position requires a high school diploma, 3+ years in healthcare authorization, and some supervisory experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of healthcare-related authorization experience.
• Some lead/supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare collections and accounts receivables preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise daily authorization activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to policies.
• Oversee authorization management and maintain portfolios at acceptable levels.
• Provide guidance to management on authorization issues at branches.
• Develop plans to meet stated authorization objectives.
• Maintain provider manuals, patient information updates, and logs.
• Ensure authorizations meet time frames and CS guarantees; monitor regulatory changes.
