Job summary

Humana Inc is seeking an Authorization Supervisor to oversee daily authorization activities for CenterWell Home Health. You will guide staff, ensure adherence to policies, and coordinate with the Authorizations Manager to optimize efficiency.

This remote, full-time role requires 3+ years in healthcare authorization and supervisory experience, with strong Excel/Word/Outlook/Teams skills and effective communication. 40 hours/week; pay range $65,000–$88,600; bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or the equivalent.
• 3 years or more of healthcare related authorization experience.
• Some experience in a lead or supervisory role generally required.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare collection and accounts receivables procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily authorization activities to ensure maximum efficiency and provide guidance to staff.
• Supervise authorization management functions and maintain portfolios.
• Provide guidance to management at branches on authorization issues.
• Develop and implement plans to ensure authorizations meet objectives.
• Maintain provider manuals, patient information updates, and various logs.
• Ensure authorizations are within established time frames and comply with customer service guidelines.
