Job summary

Veracity is seeking a detailed and technically proficient Atlassian System Administrator to own and evolve our Atlassian Cloud platform—Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, and Guard/Access—across a remote, cloud-only environment. You will partner with Engineering, Operations, and leadership to translate workflows into scalable system solutions that reduce manual work and surface real-time visibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on Atlassian Cloud administration.
• Deep expertise configuring Jira Cloud projects, workflows, screens, and schemes.
• Experience with Jira Service Management Cloud and Confluence Cloud administration.
• SSO/SCIM, RBAC, and license management experience.
• Atlassian Cloud certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end administration of the Atlassian Cloud stack across Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud.
• Configure and maintain projects, boards, issue types, workflows, screens, and permissions within Jira Cloud.
• Manage user provisioning, groups, roles, product access, SSO/SCIM, and license allocation.
• Maintain Confluence Cloud spaces, templates, permissions, and space governance.
• Oversee Jira Service Management Cloud queues, SLAs, portals, and approvals.
• Design and maintain Jira Cloud automation rules and cross-product workflows.
• Build integrations between Atlassian Cloud and Slack, Teams, Office 365, Google Workspace, GitHub, Salesforce, and HRIS/ITSM tools.
• Evaluate and govern Atlassian Marketplace Cloud apps.
• Create dashboards and real-time reporting for priorities and risks.
• Map workflows with departments and standardize Jira/Confluence processes.
• Ensure security, privacy, RBAC, SSO/MFA, audit logs, and vendor risk controls.
