Job summary

Lancium, LLC, a Texas-based energy technology and infrastructure company, seeks a Jira and Confluence Cloud Administrator to configure, maintain, and improve our Atlassian Cloud environment. You will collaborate with program managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to translate needs into reliable workflows, reporting, and documentation.

3+ years of Atlassian Cloud admin experience, JQL proficiency, and knowledge of REST APIs are required.

Qualifications

At least three years of experience administering Jira and Confluence in Atlassian Cloud.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, BIS, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience configuring Jira workflows, fields, screens, permissions, and notifications; understand shared configurations impact.
Proficiency in JQL, filters, dashboards, and reporting; experience supporting Scrum, Kanban, or other delivery processes.
Experience administering Confluence spaces, permissions, templates, and content organization.
Experience building automation rules and integrations; familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and scripting for admin tasks.
Knowledge of Atlassian Cloud administration, licensing, and Entra ID single sign-on and provisioning.
Ability to translate stakeholder requirements into maintainable configurations and troubleshoot issues.
Strong communication and documentation skills; experience training users and collaborating with teams.
Atlassian administration certification and Jira Service Management familiarity are a plus.

Responsibilities

Administer Jira and Confluence Cloud, including configuration, access, licensing, and ongoing platform support.
Create, test, and maintain automation rules and approved integrations to reduce manual work and improve consistency.
Manage user and group access, project roles, space permissions, and external collaboration; coordinate with IT on Entra ID SSO, provisioning, and access reviews.
Evaluate and administer integrations, including permissions, licensing costs, and support requirements, with IT and security.
Troubleshoot configuration, access, automation, and integration issues; provide user training and documentations; coordinate unresolved issues with vendors.
Maintain configuration documentation and change controls; test significant changes; monitor usage and audit activity; coordinate data exports, retention, and recovery with IT.
