Job summary

ProArch is seeking a seasoned Jira/Confluence Administrator in the Atlanta area to manage both self-hosted and Atlassian Cloud deployments, ensure migration readiness, and maintain hybrid environments.

You will configure Jira projects, workflows, fields, dashboards, permission schemes, and integrate with external systems. The role emphasizes SSO (Okta/Azure AD), automation rules, and strong documentation and cross‑functional collaboration across Engineering, Security, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Jira/Confluence administration, preferably in a self-hosted environment.
• Proficient in Jira project/workflow configurations, custom fields, dashboards, and permission schemes.
• Experience with Linux system administration, scripting (Bash, Python), and application monitoring.
• Familiarity with ITSM or agile workflows.
• Strong communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain both self-hosted and Atlassian Cloud environments; manage migrations and hybrid deployments.
• Manage user permissions, projects, workflows, schemes, plugins, and integrations.
• Administer Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and Jira integrations with external systems.
• Ensure system reliability, uptime, performance, and backups.
• Provide user provisioning, SSO integration, and cloud-based app support.
• Automate processes and reporting; implement best practices for issues, boards, SLAs, templates.
• Integrate Jira/Confluence with Azure DevOps and other tools.
• Build lightweight automations using REST, Groovy, and automation rules.
• Respond to service desk tickets and provide training and documentation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Operations; contribute to policy implementations.
