Fortra is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Sales team. This role supports pre-sales activities by understanding customers' technical and business requirements and demonstrating product capabilities.

You will help design tailored proposals and contribute to webinars, tradeshows, and content development. You’ll collaborate with partners and teams across the company, deliver product demonstrations, own the customer evaluation process, and help positions our solutions to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Experience with IBM i Operating System.
• Technical, customer-facing software or solutions-focused background.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver presales activities, including product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with sales and prospective customers to understand needs.
• Own the customer evaluation process, including trials and proofs of concept.
• Develop tailored solution proposals and deliver high-impact demonstrations.
• Identify objections and work with teams to address them.
• Represent the company at industry events and webinars.
• Support partner enablement and cross-selling initiatives.
