Fortra is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer to join our Sales team. You will engage in pre‑sales activities, understand technical and business needs, and demonstrate product capabilities. You will craft tailored proposals delivering maximum value and contribute to marketing efforts such as webinars and tradeshows.

You will partner with sales and cross‑functional teams to advance customer engagements. The role emphasizes pain discovery, managing product evaluation trials, addressing

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering/Business or related field.
• Experience in technical, customer-facing software environments.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities.

• Lead pain-discovery with customers to articulate solutions that fit their needs.
• Own the customer evaluation process for proposed products and proofs of concept.
• Identify objections and propose remediation in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
• Build and present customer proposals highlighting benefits and business value, including to C-level executives.
• Estimate professional services effort and develop project plans to support deployments.
• Collaborate with partners on visits, demonstrations, proposals, events and enablement activities.
