Job summary

GreenDrop is seeking an Associate Manager to lead field operations and support donor services across multiple sites in North Carolina. You will train and mentor teams, coordinate with Area Managers, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations at our donation sites.

The role emphasizes leadership, customer service excellence, and adherence to safety and company values. Travel between sites is expected; a strong work ethic and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in a supervisory customer service role leading 10+ team members.
• Ability to lead and manage effective teams.
• Demonstrate customer service skills.
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions.
• Attention to cleanliness, organization and detail.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach the Associate Manager in Training role and new team members.
• Directly oversee 20 to 30 sites on a regular basis.
• Oversee direct report functions of an Area Manager including hiring, coaching, counseling, firing and onboarding.
• Support Area Manager by reviewing applications, conducting interviews and onboarding.
• Manage supplies, assets and maintenance at each site.
• Ensure timely pickups are communicated.
• Interact with donors with good judgment and a donor-focused mindset.
• Maintain a positive, customer-focused demeanor and work with integrity.
