Job summary

Rawson is seeking an Associate Account Manager for a full-time, remote role covering the Austin territory. This developmental position works with the Sales Director to build sales skills and product knowledge within the Relevant Solutions portfolio while gaining exposure to customers, suppliers, and the field.

You will participate in training, develop territory plans, and help grow revenue by strengthening customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2-4 year degree from trade school, college, or university required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or a relevant field; combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Prior experience in industrial distribution, semi-conductor, food & beverage, material packaging, or power generation industries is preferred.
• Must be able to pass background screening check for entry into secure facilities.

Responsibilities

• Works with the Sales Director and peers to set specific goals for their development, including working with individual Account Managers to develop sales strategies and product knowledge.
• Travels throughout assigned territory to develop effective customer relationships and grow territory revenue, with an emphasis on improving selling skills and identifying customer and product targets.
• Works with the Sales Director, Product Specialists, and Vendors to develop technical knowledge and selling skills.
• Attends all training opportunities provided by the company (virtual and in-person).
• Tracks and updates account development, customer data, and sales opportunities utilizing electronic sales management tools (CRM).
• Represents the company at trade shows and customer events to promote Relevant Solutions.
• Prepares periodic sales presentations showcasing product knowledge and professional development.
