Job summary

VAST Data is seeking an Account Executive to own and grow enterprise accounts in the Austin territory, with remote eligibility. You will drive revenue with a network of partners, manage the full sales cycle, and present proposals that align with customers' business objectives.

The role requires proven quota attainment, experience selling to large strategic customers, and the ability to operate in fast-paced environments; Salesforce and MS Office proficiency a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of exceeding quota with large strategic customers.
• Experience growing selling regions from scratch with limited resources.

• Able to discuss technical concepts with business leaders.

Responsibilities

• Develop business across enterprise-level customers in the Austin territory.
• Generate revenue and collaborate with Channel Partners to sell VAST Data offerings.
• Manage the sales process to align with customer buying cycles.
• Maintain relationships from initial meeting through potential proofs of concept and post-sale expansion.
• Develop and present proposals showing how VAST solutions meet business objectives.
