Job summary

Market My Market is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to own the full billing and collections lifecycle for a fast-growing marketing agency. This fully remote role requires availability during Eastern Time business hours and focuses on processing subscriptions, invoices, and payments in HubSpot Commerce, plus reconciliation with QuickBooks.

You will support forecasting, reporting, and process improvements while maintaining accurate, audit-ready receivables records and ensuring timely

Qualifications

• 4+ years in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar finance operations role
• Hands-on experience with HubSpot Commerce platform including subscriptions, payment links, and invoices
• Experience reconciling billing platforms against QuickBooks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational habits

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage recurring subscriptions in HubSpot Commerce
• Create and send payment links and generate invoices at scale
• Apply incoming payments and resolve failed or declined transactions
• Follow up on past-due balances and manage collections
• Process prorations, credits, refunds, upgrades, downgrades, and one-off charges accurately and on time
• Reconcile HubSpot Commerce activity against QuickBooks
• Investigate discrepancies between platforms
• Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records
• Keep the receivables ledger current and reflective of real-time client activity
• Serve as the point of contact for client billing questions and disputes
• Coordinate adjustments and payment arrangements while protecting the client relationship
• Partner with Client Experience Managers to resolve escalations
• Support revenue forecasting and cash-flow projections
• Build and maintain AR reporting, including aging and collections
• Deliver reports to leadership on a regular cadence
• Identify and implement efficiencies and automation to scale processes
