Job summary

Market My Market is seeking a Hubspot Commerce Specialist to own the billing lifecycle for a fast-growing agency. This remote role supports subscriptions, payments, and invoicing in HubSpot Commerce, reconciles data with QuickBooks, and collaborates with client teams to resolve billing issues during Eastern Time business hours.

You will forecast revenue, build AR reports, and drive efficiencies in billing processes as volume scales.

Qualifications

• Hands-on HubSpot Commerce processing subscriptions and invoices.
• Experience reconciling billing platforms against QuickBooks.
• 4+ years in accounts receivable, billing, or a similar finance operations role.
• Comfortable managing high transaction volume in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing interactions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and manage recurring subscriptions in HubSpot Commerce.
• Create and send payment links and generate invoices at scale.
• Apply incoming payments and resolve failed or declined transactions.
• Follow up on past-due balances and manage collections.
• Process prorations, credits, refunds, upgrades, downgrades, and one-off charges accurately and on time.
• Reconcile HubSpot Commerce activity against QuickBooks to ensure transactions, payouts, and balances match.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between platforms.
• Maintain clean, audit-ready financial records and current receivables ledger.
• Serve as the point of contact for client billing questions and disputes.
• Forecast revenue, build AR reporting, and deliver regular leadership updates.
• Identify efficiencies and automation to scale billing and reconciliation as volume grows.
