Job summary

Medcor is hiring a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist (AR Specialist) for a fully remote role in the Finance Team. This position supports billing, reconciliation, and collections from home while coordinating with Sales, business units, IT, Legal, Finance, and third-party payers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Generate bi-weekly and monthly invoices and returns for assigned lines of business.
• Review and audit timecards to ensure accurate invoicing.
• Review client contracts to confirm billing requirements and invoice accuracy.
• Create and maintain billing templates for assigned lines of business.
• Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email and provide/good customer service.
• Perform collections activities via phone and email follow-up.
• Reconcile customer accounts against the General Ledger.
• Support monthly and year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional partners.
• Assist with training, process improvements, and special projects.
