Job summary

Pennant Services seeks an AR Supervisor to lead accounts receivable, Medicaid and managed care billing across a multi-state portfolio of senior living communities. You will ensure accurate, timely billing and reimbursement while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations.

You will provide operational oversight and expert guidance on Medicaid eligibility, provider requirements, and payer rules, partnering with operational leaders to improve reimbursement outcomes and AR performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare revenue cycle, accounts receivable, Medicaid billing, or managed care billing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing Medicaid billing operations across multiple states.
• Knowledge of Medicaid waiver programs, managed care organizations, and reimbursement methodologies.
• Experience with claim submission, denial management, and revenue recovery.
• Experience in assisted living, senior living, or healthcare environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounts receivable for assigned communities.
• Audit AR and billing practices for accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursement.
• Monitor AR trends, aging, denials, and reimbursement activity to identify risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and present AR, Medicaid, and managed care performance reports to leadership.
• Ensure timely submission of Medicaid, waiver, and managed care claims.
