Job summary

Oak Street Health is hiring a Remote Contact Center Service Advocate I to deliver an outstanding patient experience. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, schedule appointments, and enter data into the scheduling system with accuracy and courtesy.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service experience, and a friendly, empathetic approach for an older adult patient population. Bilingual skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Polish) are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience, call center environment preferred
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Polish language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
• Provide courteous, professional service and address patient inquiries
• Accurately enter patient information into scheduling system
• Communicate appointment details and instructions clearly to patients
• Address scheduling conflicts and resolve issues promptly
• Collaborate with medical staff and other departments for smooth scheduling
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide reminders
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and transactions
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
