Job summary

Oak Street Health is seeking a Remote Contact Center Service Advocate I to manage patient appointments and deliver exceptional service. You will handle inbound/outbound calls, enter data into the scheduling system, and ensure clear communication of instructions to patients.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year of CS experience, and strong phone etiquette. Bilingual candidates and US work authorization are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; some undergraduate education preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience, call center environment preferred.
• Friendly and nurturing attitude toward our patient population of older adults.
• Proficient PC skills, including basic Microsoft Excel skills.
• US work authorization.
• Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, or Polish speakers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls to schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
• Provide courteous and professional service to patients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
• Accurately enter patient information and appointment details into the scheduling system.
• Communicate appointment details and any necessary instructions to patients clearly.
• Address and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues promptly.
• Work closely with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth scheduling operations.
• Conduct follow-up calls to confirm appointments and provide reminders to patients.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and transactions with patients.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.
