Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer in the United States to serve as a primary technical resource for the field sales force, guiding the evaluation of inquiries through order and delivery.

You will review customer specifications, develop proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders and related equipment, perform analyses, and collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to win new business.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or another related field.
• 3+ years bidding/proposal preparation for engineered equipment or systems.
• Ability to read and understand bid/proposal specifications (technical and commercial).

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications for technical and commercial requirements for new equipment projects.
• Develop proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders, turbo-compressors, and related services.
• Perform technical reviews to ensure design meets specifications.
• Lead and coordinate internal proposal process across multiple teams.
• Maintain records in Salesforce and internal databases.
