Job summary

Chart Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer to be the primary technical resource for field sales, driving the technical and commercial assessment of inquiries through to order. You will collaborate with sales and engineering to identify reliable solutions and support the customer through all stages of the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years bidding/proposal experience for engineered equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret bid/proposal specs from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Experience with P&IDs and related drawings.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review customer specifications for technical and commercial requirements.
• Develop proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders, turbo-compressors, and related equipment.
• Lead technical and commercial proposal communications with the customer.
• Coordinate internal proposal process across sales, engineering, and operations.
• Ensure proposals account for internal costs, scheduling, and legal needs.
