Chart Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource for the field sales force in a work-from-home role across the United States. You will help translate customer requirements into technical and commercial solutions for centrifugal turbo-expanders, turbo-compressors and related equipment.
You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and project teams to develop proposals, review specifications, perform calculations, and guide the design concept through
Formación
- BS in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years bidding/proposal experience for engineered equipment.
- Experience reading technical drawings (P&IDs).
- Experience with API & ASME codes.
- Knowledge of gas dynamics / control and electrical or mechanical design is a big plus.
Responsabilidades
- Review customer specifications for technical and commercial requirements on new equipment projects.
- Develop and align proposals for centrifugal turbo-expanders, turbo-compressors and related services.
- Perform technical reviews and ensure designs meet agreed specifications.
- Lead internal proposal process with cross-functional teams to account for costs and scheduling.
- Achieve KPIs such as bookings value, margins, and on-time delivery.
- Provide product knowledge and respond to RFIs/RFPs.
