Chart Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer to be the primary technical resource for field sales. You will drive technical and commercial evaluation of inquiries, align proposals for turbo‑expander and compressor systems, and coordinate across engineering, sales, and supply chain to secure opportunities.

You will review customer specs, perform calculations, and present robust proposals while ensuring safety and compliance. A BS in engineering and related experience are required.

Competenze

• BS in Engineering required.
• Experience with centrifugal air/gas turbo-expander and turbo‑compressors.
• Ability to read P&IDs and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of API and ASME codes.
• Expertise in Gas Dynamics and related design areas.
• Experience in Oil & Gas industries is a plus.
• Strong communication and self‑starting work style.

Mansioni

• Receive and review customer specs and develop proposals for centrifugal turbo‑expanders and related equipment.
• Perform technical review of specifications and adapt designs to meet requirements.
• Calculate and select products to meet process needs.
• Lead technical/commercial proposal discussions with customers.
• Coordinate internal proposal processes across teams to ensure complete cost and schedule coverage.
• Support KPI targets (bookings value/margins, OTD, pipeline).
• Promote safety procedures and develop product expertise.
• Provide design support to consultants, integrators, and distributors.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and communicate with customers effectively.
• Maintain records in Salesforce and other databases.
