Job summary

Octave, a global software company, seeks a Software Consultant to join the remote-enabled, full-time support team. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Octave’s solutions and interfaces while working with a global team to deliver exceptional customer service.

You will engage with solution development and product teams to investigate problems, document design issues, and provide clear customer feedback, with opportunities for customer training and knowledge-base

Qualifications

• Strong competency of Intergraph Smart3D with knowledge of additional Octave Solutions an advantage.
• Communicate via telephone, email, online video, and in person, employing excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Experience participating in consulting functions and services.
• Customer Service experience and ability.
• Degree qualification in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
• Fluency in the basic technologies underlying the IT industry.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues as part of a global support team.
• Support customers by troubleshooting and resolving technically complex issues related to Octave’s Solutions and interfaces.
• Regularly interact with solution development and product teams to investigate problems and document design issues.
