Job summary

AGTEK Development Company, a part of Hexagon, is seeking a Technical Support Representative to join its Global Support Organization. This role is fully remote with a preference for Livermore, California based candidates.

You will provide technical support for AGTEK software products via phone, internet and email, ensuring friendly customer experiences, addressing issues within response times, and contributing to product improvements and training materials.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent work experience in computer or information technology.
• Experience in the construction industry and AGTEK products.
• Must be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and self motivated.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to quickly master and explain software.
• Articulate and well-spoken with excellent phone and email etiquette.
• Must work cooperatively with other team members.
• Is willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for customers and sales representatives over the phone, internet and via e-mail, for AGTEK software products
• Provide a friendly, courteous experience for customers
• Address customer problems within established response time
• Suggest changes and methods for the improvement of our products
• Verify, and if necessary, report defects when encountered during testing, support or training
• Test new versions and updates
• Confirm bug fixes and maintain bug tracking system
• Assist with the development and editing of training guides and videos
• Provide training and support for customers, salespeople and internal staff
• Assemble and test fly Drones
