Eaton Corporation’s Critical Power Projects team seeks an Application Engineer for a fully remote role with up to 10% travel. You will support UPS systems and power distribution projects, from proposals through execution, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, and Project Operations.

Responsibilities include preparing technical proposals, leading cost estimates, and ensuring BOM accuracy. Travel may be required to client sites, with comprehensive support from a cross‑functional team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Business with Engineering/Technical Experience and 1 year of experience in electrical contractor estimating/proposal writing.
• Alternatively 3 years of experience in electrical contractor estimating/proposal writing or field experience with UPS systems.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret project specs and drawings; prepare technical proposals/bid packages for UPS systems.
• Lead cost estimates and proposals with the bid team.
• Act as a technical liaison among customers, plants, sales and project operations.
• Review BOMs and proposals for accuracy; support site visits for inputs as needed.
• Develop project milestone billing schedules and values for proposals.
