Eaton Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer for a fully remote role supporting Critical Power Projects. You will analyze specifications, prepare bids and price sheets, and lead cost-estimate efforts with the bid team. Travel up to 10% within the region is expected.

Required are an Electrical Engineering Technology degree or a Business degree with engineering exposure, plus relevant experience in UPS and power distribution. No relocation.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology; or Business with Engineering/Technical Experience, plus 1 year of electrical contractor estimating/proposal writing, application engineering on UPS/power distribution equipment.
• In lieu of degree, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical contractor estimating/proposal writing, application engineering, or UPS power distribution work.
• No relocation; candidate must reside in KY, TN, NC, SC, MS, AL, GA, or FL; immigration sponsorship not offered.

Mansioni

• Interpret project specs and drawings; respond with detailed proposals and bids for UPS systems.
• Create project proposals <$2M and price sheets for management review.
• Lead cost estimates development and approval with bid team members.
• Serve as technical liaison among customers, plants, sales, and project operations.
• Review proposals for correct BOM and content; ensure accuracy of orders.
• Travel up to 10% per year within the region to gather inputs and review details.
• Interface with project execution for handoff and order history.
• Maintain project/proposal documentation; develop milestones and value schedules.
