Eaton Corporation is seeking an Application Engineer for its Critical Power Projects team. This fully remote role allows travel up to 10% and is open to candidates in several southern states.

The position offers a salary range of $86,000 to $126,000 per year and eligibility for a variable incentive program. Candidates should have UPS systems experience and be prepared to support technical proposals and customer interfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree qualifications as listed or equivalent experience in electrical/UPS systems.
• Minimum 1 year in electrical contractor estimating or UPS-related proposal writing, if degree is present.
• Residency within allowed states; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Interpret specifications and prepare technical proposals and bids for UPS systems.
• Create project proposals under $2M and pricing sheets for management review.
• Lead cost estimates development and approval with bid team.
• Act as technical liaison to Customers, UPS plants, Sales and Project Operations.
• Review BOM and content of Critical Power Projects proposals.
• Periodically visit sites to gather inputs for proposals; travel up to 10%.
• Review orders on receipt to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with proposal handoff and milestone billing schedules.
