Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group seeks an API IT Solutions Analyst II (Remote) to deliver enterprise APIs powering critical sales, service, and claims systems. You will onboard partners to our API ecosystem and troubleshoot to ensure seamless integration across channels.

You will collaborate with BRM/BRMC, BSA, PMs, Developers and QA, translating business needs into technical requirements, producing SOPs, and driving timely project delivery in a remote-first environment across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area (Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3-5 years System documentation experience and/or technical writing
• Ability to create non-functional requirements and translate business requirements into non-functional requirements
• Solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies
• Ability to trace given transactions through a sophisticated system and document how systems and overlapping processes interact

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BRM/BRMC, BSA and PMs, Developers and QA and other IT partners as needed
• Understand needs, collect business requirements, and translate them into technical requirements
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure project timelines and milestones are met
• Develop and maintain comprehensive SOPs for consistent processes
• Lead and accelerate delivery of projects within set timelines
• Create API mapping sheets and API specs
• Foster collaboration with domains and partners to support the work environment
• Collaborate with Architects, Developers and others to align technical solutions with business objectives
• Serve as go-to SME for business partners, providing in-depth knowledge of applications and platforms
• Review documentation for accuracy and update BRM/BRMC, BSA and PM on status of issues and risks
• Capture vital business needs using BRD and validate that technical requirements support them
• Create and maintain documentation including technical requirements, design, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Architects and Solution Designers to produce clear technical specifications
• Assist with UAT and training materials for new or enhanced applications
• Extract, analyze, and interpret data to support decisions and track performance metrics
