Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its accounting and finance team. The role involves managing the full-cycle AP, matching invoices to POs, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely approvals.

You will support month-end close, expense reports, and procurement tool workflows, while upholding internal controls. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in AP, solid Excel skills, and experience with Sage Intacct.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Advanced Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience with an ERP such as Sage Intacct preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication and multitasking ability.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, including invoice entry and payments.
• Match invoices to PO and receiving documentation with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Communicate AP-related questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close.
• Process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for the procurement tool, including user support and workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation.
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and increase efficiency.
