Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an A/P Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. You will manage the full-cycle AP function, process invoices in Sage Intacct, reconcile vendor statements, and support month-end close with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of AP experience, strong Excel and communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Remote-first environment with nationwide reach and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Experience with an ERP system such as Sage Intacct preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently to deliver accurate results
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP function and process invoices in Sage Intacct with accurate GL coding
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving docs with required approvals
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies promptly
• Communicate AP-related questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams
• Reconcile AP GL accounts and support month-end close activities
• Review employee expense reports and corporate card transactions
• Serve as the procurement tool lead, including user support and approvals
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls
• Assist with audits and provide AP documentation as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and increase efficiency
