Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral and mental health technology, is seeking an AP Specialist to join the accounting and finance team. The role covers full-cycle AP, vendor communication, month-end close support, and process improvements in a remote-first environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle AP, including invoicing and GL coding.
• Match invoices to POs and receiving docs with proper approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate AP questions with employees, vendors, and internal teams.
• Assist month-end close and AP GL reconciliations.
