Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an A/P Specialist to join the accounting and finance team in a remote-first role with national reach. You will manage full-cycle AP, process invoices, and ensure accurate GL coding in Sage Intacct. You’ll also handle expense reports, corporate card transactions, and procurement tool workflows.

The role emphasizes internal controls, month-end close support, and audits. A bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance is preferred and 3–5 years of AP experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for our procurement tool, including user support and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
