Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an A/P Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. In this remote-first role, you will manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, enter invoices in Sage Intacct with precise GL coding, and support month-end close.

You will reconcile AP GL accounts, review employee expense reports and corporate card transactions, and serve as the go-to person for our procurement tool, ensuring compliant workflows and strong internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle AP function and enter invoices with accurate GL coding in Sage Intacct.
• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for the procurement tool, including user support and workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
