Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking an A/P Specialist to join our accounting and finance team. You will manage full-cycle accounts payable, process invoices in Sage Intacct, and ensure accurate GL coding for a fast-growing behavioral health technology company.

You will reconcile AP accounts, review expense reports, support audits, and maintain strong internal controls in a remote-first environment with national reach. Requires 3–5 years of full-cycle AP experience and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience; bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general accounting practices.
• Advanced Excel skills (ability to create pivot tables, VLOOKUP functions).

Responsibilities

• Reconcile AP-related general ledger accounts and assist with month-end close activities.
• Review and process employee expense reports and corporate credit card transactions.
• Serve as the point person for our procurement tool, including user support and approval workflow maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and provide AP documentation as needed.
