Job summary

Emerson seeks a Technical Field Sales Professional to grow analytical instrumentation sales across Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. Based in Western Iowa or the Kansas City area, you will build relationships, develop account plans, and present Emerson solutions that deliver measurable value.

This remote field-based role requires travel within territory and collaboration with internal teams. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree and 1+ year in analytical instrumentation sales, with a valid license

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience relevant to our products and industry.
• 1+ year of analytical instrumentation sales for liquid, combustion, flame & gas safety.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel within territory.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across accounts.
• Develop and execute account plans to identify opportunities and growth.
• Present solutions that address customer challenges and demonstrate value.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities from lead to purchase.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and pursuit strategies.
• Apply pricing strategies balancing customer needs with business objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to uncover opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of activities and forecasts.
