Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Technical Field Sales Professional to drive analytical instrumentation sales in the Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas region. Based in Western Iowa or the Kansas City area, this remote field-based role focuses on Liquid, Combustion, and Fire & Gas Safety products, serving a broad industrial base across agribusiness and energy markets.

You will build strategic account plans, nurture long-term relationships, and present value-driven solutions while collaborating with internal teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
1+ year of analytical instrumentation sales in liquids, combustion, flame and gas safety.
Valid driver's license.
Willingness to travel within territory, with potential overnight stays.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across accounts.
Develop and execute account plans to identify opportunities and drive demand.
Present customer-focused solutions that address challenges and show measurable value.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities from lead to order to maximize portfolio.
Collaborate with internal partners to align pursuit strategies.
Apply pricing strategies balancing customer needs and business goals.
Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to uncover opportunity.
Maintain accurate CRM documentation of activities, forecasts, and insights.
