Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Technical Field Sales Professional to grow partnerships and drive strategic opportunities in the Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas region. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.
• 1+ year of analytical instrumentation sales in liquids, combustion, flame & gas safety or related industrial sales.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel within territory and occasional overnight travel.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key stakeholders across accounts to support satisfaction, loyalty, and growth.
• Develop and execute account plans to identify opportunities and demand.
• Present clear, customer‑focused solution recommendations addressing challenges and value.
• Identify new business opportunities from lead to purchase order to maximize portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective pursuit strategies.
• Apply thoughtful pricing strategies balancing customer needs with business objectives.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to anticipate needs and uncover opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities, forecasts, and insights in CRM.
