Job summary

Emerson seeks a Technical Field Sales Professional to grow analytical instrumentation sales across Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas. Based in Western Iowa or near Kansas City, MO, you will build customer partnerships, develop account plans, and deliver solutions in liquid, combustion, and gas safety segments.

You will travel within the territory, collaborate with BDMs and technical teams, and drive strategy with a customer-centric approach.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
1+ year of analytical instrumentation or related industrial technical sales experience.
Valid Driver’s License.
Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel within territory with occasional overnight stays.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across assigned accounts.
Develop and execute account plans to identify opportunities and growth.
Present customer-focused solution recommendations addressing challenges and value.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities from lead to purchase order.
Collaborate with internal partners to align strategies and pursue opportunities.
Apply pricing strategies balancing customer needs with business objectives.
Monitor industry trends to anticipate needs and uncover opportunities.
Maintain documentation of activities and forecasts in CRM.
