Axon seeks a Professional Services Manager to serve as the on-site deployment lead for fixed ALPR systems, coordinating contractors and validating installations across the United States. You will work with permitting, vendor, and engineering teams to ensure power, connectivity, and performance readiness from day one.

You will travel nationwide (approximately 90%), train customer contacts, and deliver detailed deployment reports while upholding Axon safety and craftsmanship standards.

Formación

• 2–4 years in field operations, systems deployment, or infrastructure installation (public safety, telecom, or utilities preferred).
• Experience with electrical systems (110VAC and 12VDC) and power troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of IP-based Ethernet networks (LAN/WAN/VPN) and troubleshooting networks.
• Strong field coordination and contractor engagement skills.
• Ability to train customer technical contacts and end users, and communicate with senior public safety leaders.
• Proficiency with field management tools (Asana, Salesforce, Slack, Zoom).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and visit customers in person; live near a major airport.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Physical capability to stand, bend, climb, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must obtain CJIS Level 4 certification.
• Military/public safety/security tech experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support ALPR deployments from pre-wire to full activation, including power prep and field testing.
• Validate on-site installation accuracy using drawings and power plans.
• Coordinate field commissioning tests with the customer and Axon teams.
• Lead on-site deployments with safety and technical standards in mind.
• Collaborate with contractors, AHJs, and utilities to remove barriers.
• Document field data, logs, and network diagrams for design support.
• Provide timely deployment reports and updates to stakeholders.
• Train primary technical contacts and end users on Axon ALPR usage.
• Escalate product irregularities to Product Managers during deployments.
• Align site activities with project managers and permitting leads.
