Job summary

Axon is seeking a Professional Services Manager to drive post-sale ALPR deployments across the United States. You’ll lead on-site installs, coordinate contractors, validate power and network readiness, and ensure performance standards.

The role is remote with extensive travel and direct interaction with public safety customers. You will collaborate with permitting, vendor and engineering teams to align builds with safety and reliability requirements, while training customers on Axon ALPR usage

Qualifications

2–4 years in field operations, deployments or infrastructure installation.
Experience with electrical systems (110VAC, 12VDC) and power troubleshooting.
Knowledge of IP-based Ethernet networks; able to troubleshoot networks and devices.
Strong field coordination and contractor engagement; safety conscious.
Ability to train customer technical contacts and communicate with senior public safety leaders.

Responsibilities

Support ALPR deployments from pre-wire to full activation, including power prep and field testing.
Conduct hands-on site validation and troubleshooting (110VAC and 12VDC).
Interpret site drawings, power plans, and mounting guides for installation accuracy.
Coordinate and execute field commissioning tests with the customer.
Serve as Axon's on-site lead during installs, aligning with safety standards.
Work with contractors, AHJs, and utilities to clear barriers and ensure readiness.
Capture photos, logs, and field data to improve processes and docs.
Create network diagrams to support design and planning of comm systems.
