Job summary

Axon is seeking a Professional Services Manager to drive and oversee ALPR deployments nationwide. This post-sales, client-facing role coordinates contractors, validates technical specs, troubleshoots in real time, and ensures readiness from day one across diverse agencies.

You will lead site installations, manage permitting and utility coordination, and deliver detailed deployment reports while training customers on Axon ALPR use. Expect extensive travel and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years in field operations, systems deployment, or infrastructure installation (public safety, telecom, or utilities preferred).
• Experience with electrical systems (110VAC and 12VDC), power troubleshooting, and structured cabling.
• Working knowledge of IP-based Ethernet networks, including LAN, WAN, and VPN concepts, with the ability to troubleshoot applications, computers, and networks.
• Strong field coordination and contractor engagement skills.
• Ability to train customer technical contacts and end users, and to communicate with senior public safety leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support ALPR deployments from pre-wire to full activation, including power prep, equipment setup, and field testing.
• Conduct hands-on site validation and troubleshooting (110VAC and 12VDC).
• Interpret site drawings, power plans, and mounting guides to validate installation accuracy.
• Coordinate and execute field commissioning tests with the customer.
• Serve as Axon's on-site lead during installs, maintaining alignment with technical and safety standards.
