Job summary

Cytiva is seeking an AKTA Sales Specialist to drive sales of chromatography systems and consumables across the Bay Area, including SF and surrounding cities. This remote role offers a flexible arrangement while focusing on a defined regional territory.

You will partner with life science customers, provide expert technical consultation, and manage the sales funnel within Salesforce to meet annual targets. A life sciences background and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field is required or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of laboratory, research, biotech or pharma experience.
Experience communicating complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences is essential.

Responsibilities

Partner with life science customers to support chromatography workflows with expert product knowledge, training, and application support.
Generate new business and expand existing relationships for AKTA portfolio across instrument, resin, column, and software sales.
Achieve annual sales targets with funnel management and territory/account growth plans in Salesforce.
Build relationships with key decision makers and lab stakeholders.
Drive adoption of AKTA platforms for protein purification and process development.
