Job summary

Cytiva, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an AKTA Sales Specialist to partner with life science customers, support chromatography workflows, and drive growth for AKTA platforms, resins, columns, and software.

You will deliver product demonstrations, training, and application support, build strategic account plans, and manage territory opportunities in collaboration with field scientists and marketing. Travel up to 50% within the United States; remote work arrangement available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 3+ years in laboratory, biotech, pharma, or related science.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to scientific audiences.

What You'll Do

• Partner with life science customers to support their chromatography workflows through expert product knowledge, technical consultation, training, and application support.
• Support successful product demonstrations, seminars, workshops, and customer training events in collaboration with Field Application Scientists and Marketing.
• Generate new business and expand existing customer relationships for the AKTA portfolio and identify opportunities to grow instrument, resin, column, and software sales by understanding customer processes and research objectives.
• Achieve annual sales targets while maintaining accurate funnel management and forecasting within Salesforce and develop and execute territory and account growth plans, including opportunity generation, competitive strategy, and business development activities.
• Build strong relationships with key decision makers, research leaders, and laboratory stakeholders.
• Drive adoption of AKTA chromatography platforms for protein purification, process development, and related applications.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory, research, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related scientific experience.
• Strong understanding of protein purification, chromatography, or biologics research workflows preferred and demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to scientific audiences.
• Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills, strong organizational, planning, and funnel management skills.
• Ability to work effectively across sales, applications, service, and marketing teams.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

50% Travel within the assigned territory and occasional travel outside the territory. Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

This position is eligible for a remote work arrangement in which you can work remotely from your home. The annual salary range for this role is $110,000-130,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees. Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
